Prerequisite

Description

Performing Network Readiness Assessment

Run the readiness assessment tool and assess the network for compatibility with WXP.

Obtaining UPN Suffixes

Silent enrollment requires User Principal Name (UPN) suffixes, so domain-joined devices must have a valid UPN. If the device is not domain-joined, the device can be silently enrolled without a valid UPN.

Configuring Domains to Allow Communication for WXP

If your devices are protected by a firewall, proxy, or security software, ensure they are configured to allow communication.

(Optional) Configuring Proxy and Authentication for WXP Insights Agent

If the proxy server cannot be automatically detected, configure the settings by specifying the auto-configuration URL (PAC URL) or the static proxy server if an authenticated proxy is used.

Note: FIPS mode must be disabled. For details, refer to the article - WXP Insights Agent for Windows Does Not Support FIPS.
