Network Health Report

The Network Health report provides a comprehensive view of network stability and connection quality across enrolled devices in your organization. Thiis report enables IT teams to monitor key metrics, such as connection reliability, signal strength, and authentication types. This data is essential for identifying recurring network issues, tracking improvements, and implementing corrective actions.

This report includes both high-level summaries and detailed device-level data to support proactive troubleshooting and performance optimization. Data is presented across multiple sections, such as Network Health Score, Top Network Health Issues, Network Issues Since Last Week, and Network Authentication Types.

Reviewing Network Health Score

The Network Health Score shows an overall score of network health along with a chart indicating performance over time.

  • Score: Displays the overall network health score along with the Benchmark value. For example, an overall score of 96 against a benchmark of 93 indicates strong network performance.

  • Chart: Shows a visual trend of network health across the fleet over a period. The X-axis shows the time period and the Y-axis shows the number of devices in each category:

    • Great (green): Score above benchmark. Indicates strong network performance.
    • Fair (orange): Score near or slightly below benchmark. Indicates moderate issues.
    • Poor (red): Score significantly below benchmark. Indicates major or recurring issues.

Each trend line in the chart represents how many devices fall into each category over time.

Note: This chart is not impacted by any filters applied to the report.

Top Network Health Issues

A horizontal bar chart showing the most common network issues detected across the fleet. Each bar represents the number of devices affected by a specific issue, such as:

  • Network disconnections
  • Weak Wi-Fi signal strength
  • Unsecure network connection
  • Slow speed (wireless and wired LAN)
  • Hover over a bar to view the number of affected devices.
  • Click on a bar to get a tabular view of impacted devices.

Quick Glance of Network Issues Since Last Week

This section highlights the number of new and resolved network issues detected during the current week in comparison with the previous week. This helps IT teams to monitor trends and track issue resolution. Each row displays a specific type of network issue, with two metrics:

  • New: The number of new occurrences this week. A red down arrow with a number indicates newly reported issues.
  • Resolved: Number of issues resolved in the same period. A green up arrow indicates the number of resolved issues.

The reporting period is shown at the top of this section.

Network Authentication Types

A horizontal bar chart with Network Authentication Types on the Y-axis and the number of devices on the X-axis. Each bar represents the number of devices that are using a particular authentication type:

  • Unauthenticated: Devices connected without any authentication. This can pose a security risk.
  • WPA2-Personal: Devices using WPA2 with a pre-shared key. This is recommended for home or small offices.
  • WPA2-Enterprise: Devices using enterprise-grade authentication. This is considered more secure and recommended for large organizations.
  • Undetermined: Authentication type could not be identified due to missing or incomplete data.
  • NA: Not applicable. For example, devices not connected to Wi-Fi.

This view helps IT teams identify security risks from unauthenticated or unknown connection types.

View Key Recommended Actions

The Recommended Actions section is below the charts and they are categorized based on importance levels, such as Low, Medium, High, or Critical. For example, actions with Medium importance may include:

  • Address network disconnections: Improve reliability and reduce dropouts.
  • Address Wi-Fi signal strength issues: Ensure stable and uninterrupted connections.

Each card includes the number of affected devices, with a link to a detailed guide.
