Introdcution
The Security report in the Workforce Experience Platform (WXP) provides insights into the security status of enrolled devices. It helps you monitor and fix common risks such as missing updates, encryption status, and system protection settings. This report supports proactive security management by showing risk areas, recommending actions, and helping improve your organization’s security score.
The data appears in the following sections:
- Security Score
- Top Security Issues
- Security Over time
- Security Changes Since Last Week
- Security by Model
- Recommended Actions
Security Score
This section shows an overview of the security health across your device fleet.
- Score: The current security score for your devices. For example, 68 compared to a benchmark of 79.
- Benchmark: The target score for good security compliance.
- Device Count: Total number of devices that were checked.
- Category Indicator: The number of devices grouped by category — Poor, Fair, or Great — based on the Digital Experience Score (DEX).
- Trend Arrow: Shows if the score increased or decreased since the last period. This appears above the benchmark.
Top Security Issues
This horizontal bar chart shows the most common security issues. Each bar shows how many devices have that issue. Common issues include:
- Disk encryption is not enabled.
- Missing Windows security updates.
Tip: Hover over each bar to see the exact number of affected devices.
Top Security Issue – Details Page
Clicking a bar in the Top Security Issues chart opens a new page focused on that issue. This helps IT teams understand the impact and plan fixes.
Details on the page include:

Filters: The selected issue is shown as a filter at the top of the page. For example, if you clicked "Disk encryption is not enabled," only related data is shown.

Recommendations
Cards that suggest what to do next. Each card includes:- Severity Label: For example, High for "Enable BitLocker encryption".
- Title: The name of the suggested action.
- Description: A short explanation. For example, "Enabling BitLocker protects data by encrypting the drive."

Affected Devices
A table showing all devices with the issue.Column Description Serial Number A unique device ID. Click to view more. Device Name A user-assigned name of the device. Last Signed-In User The username or ID of the last signed-in user. Warranty State The warranty status, such as In warranty, Out of warranty, or Unknown. Security Score A numberic value indicating the security health of the device. Missing Security OS Updates The count of missing "Windows security updates." Security Encryption Status Indicates if disk encryption is enabled. Use the search box at the top of each column to filter by device name, serial number, etc.

Export: Click Export to download the data in the current view. This is useful for offline review or sharing.
Security Over Time
This chart shows how your security score changed over time. The X-axis shows time (days or weeks), and the Y-axis shows the number of devices grouped by score category.
Categories:
- Great (green): Score between 85–100. Strong security.
- Fair (orange): Score between 55–84. Some security gaps.
- Poor (red): Score between 0–54. Serious issues.
Each colored line shows the number of devices in that category over time. IT admins can:
- Spot drops in score that may need investigation.
- See the results of fixes (like enabling encryption).
- Track overall improvement over time.
Click a point in the chart to view device details for that date.
Note: Filters in the main report do not affect this chart.
Security Changes Since Last Week
This section shows how issues have changed in the past 7 days. It helps IT teams track improvements and spot new risks. Each row in the table shows:
- Issue: The problem name, like "Missing Windows security updates".
- New: Devices with the issue for the first time this week.
- Resolved: Devices where the issue was fixed. For example, if "Missing Windows security updates" shows 1 new and 0 resolved, one more device has this issue, and none were fixed.
The report shows the date range at the top.
Note: Use this table to track weekly progress and plan next steps.

Click an arrow in the chart to open a page with full details about that issue.

Filters: The issue is shown at the top as a filter.

Recommendations: Cards showing actions to fix the issue
- Priority: Indicates urgency, such as High or Medium.
- Action Title: Describes the task to be performed. For example: Enable BitLocker encryption, Enable Windows Firewall.
- Description: Explains the need for an action, such as improving stability, security, or performance.
- Category and Fleet Impact: Shows the issue type and the number and percentage of affected devices.

This chart ranks device models based on their security performance:
- Great (green): 85–100
- Fair (orange): 55–84
- Poor (red): 0–54
Use this to spot models with frequent issues and plan updates.
Tip: Use this data to update firmware or apply model-specific security policies.

Click a bar to view detailed information about that model’s issues.
