Managing End User Notifications

Prev Next

Introduction

The End User Notifications feature in the Workforce Experience Platform (WXP) enables you (IT administrators) to allow the platform to send notifications to enrolled devices. When enabled, users receive important service location requests and other updates through notifications sent to their devices.

  • The Device Notifications option allows the platform to send important notifications directly to enrolled devices. These notifications help inform users about device status, updates, and service activities without requiring manual checks.
  • The Allow Service Location Requests setting enables the platform to send location request notifications to enrolled devices. This setting is useful for service-related activities, such as locating a device for maintenance, replacement, or recovery.

When this option is enabled, users can respond to:

  • Service location requests initiated by administrators.
  • Location requests to help WXP track assets and streamline service operations.

This article provides a step-by-step guide to manage device notifications.
