Introduction
The System Health report provides visibility into the overall health of your organization’s devices by evaluating hardware-related indicators, such as battery and component statuses. Usng this data, you can identify devices with potential hardware risks and take remedial action to extend the lifespans devices. This data is crucial for proactive fleet management and device maintenance strategies.
The insights are visualized through various widgets and charts on a single dashboard.
System Health Score
This section displays the overall System Health Score for the fleet, based on underlying hardware performance indicators.
- Score: A numerical value representing the fleet’s health. A higher score indicates a healthier device environment.
- Benchmark: An industry standard reference for comparison.
- Experience Categories: A horizontal bar visualizes the number of devices in each of the following category:
- Great (85–100)
- Fair (65–84)
- Poor (Below 65)
Top System Health Issues
This section shows the most common issues affecting the system health. The horizontal bar shows the count of devices impacted by each issue. For example, “Battery health issue” has impact 7 devices.
System Health Over Time
A line chart to track the System Health Score improvements or regressions in system performance over time. The X-axis shows the date range and the Y-axis shows the score and number of devices
- Colored lines show performance indicators, such as Great (Green), Fair (Orange), and Poor (Red)
- Hovering over a data point reveals the score for the selected date as well as the count of devices in each category - Great, Fair, and Poor.
To interpret the chart, look at the green, orange, and red lines across the timeline. For example, if you see the green line rising or staying flat at the top while the orange and red lines remain close to the bottom, it indicates that most devices consistently delivered a great experience, with minimal issues.
The chart is not impacted by dashboard filters.
System Health Changes Since Last Week
This section compares the current week's health status with the previous week. The current week is dispalyed on the top with an info icon.
If there is insufficient data, the chart shows: “No data to display."
System Health by Model
This bar chart displays system health by device models to help you identiy trends across models. Each bar shows the number of devices in each health category. For exampe Great or Fair health.
For example:
- HP ProBook 440 G8 has 14 devices, all in the great category.
- HP EliteBook 845 G4 has devices in a mix of great and fair categories.
Recommended Actions
Two recommendation cards are displayed based on detected issues:
Replace batteries covered by warranty
- Priority: High
- Rationale: Replacing defective batteries avoids power issues and ensures reliable device operation.
- Impacted: 1 device (1.10% of fleet)
Address battery wear issue
- Priority: Medium
Exporting Data
Click Export to download the report based on the applied filter criteria. After clicking Export, a popup message appears indicating that the download is in progress and the file will be available in the Notification Center of the platform once ready.
