Introduction
The WXP Collaboration Technology insights application provides a detailed view of your organization’s investment in video and unified communications (UC) infrastructure. It offers insights on utilization, capacity, adoption, and real-time monitoring.
This guide helps you prepare your environment for installation. Follow the steps in order to complete the installation.

Ensure you can sign in to the WXP Collaboration platform. If you do not have an account, follow these steps to create one:

Click Start With HP | Vyopta.
Enter the required information and click Sign up. You will get a Verification email.
Open the verification email and click the link to confirm your account.
Provision the WXP Collaboration Data Collector
The WXP Collaboration Data Collector communicates with your on-premises UC infrastructure and endpoints. It must be installed on a server that runs continuously and has network access to these systems. The server can be a virtual machine (VM) or a physical device.
If your organization collects data only from a cloud vendor and does not have on-premises endpoints, the on-premises collector is not required. In this case, the WXP Collaboration Data Collector only needs access to communicate with the WXP Collaboration cloud.
Minimum server specifications
Resource | Requirement |
CPU | Dual CPUs |
Memory | 8 GB RAM |
Disk space | 80 GB (OS and data) |
Network | 1 Gbps NIC |
Operating system | Windows Server 2016+, CentOS 7+, RHEL 7+, Ubuntu 20.04+ |
Access requirements for Data Collector
For the WXP Collaboration solution to function as expected, the following access is required:
From the data collector to the cloud application
From your UC infrastructure, cloud providers, and endpoints to the data collector
Ensure your UC infrastructure and endpoints are on supported versions. Limited support is available for older versions.
