Introduction
The HP WXP Collaboration application enables you to validate that data is being successfully collected from your Zoom account. This validation helps confirm that your Zoom integration is working as expected and that required data is available for monitoring, reporting, and analytics.
This article provides guidance to validate Zoom data collection using the Tech Insights Monitoring and Tech Insights Analytics modules.
Validating Zoom Data from Tech Insights Monitoring
For validating the following sections (Users and Port Usage), use the Tech Insights Monitoring module.
Validating Zoom Meeting Data
Use the Tech Insights Monitoring module to confirm that Zoom meeting data is being collected.
Log in to your HP WXP Collaboration application.
Open the Tech Insights Monitoring.
From the left menu, click Datasets > Meetings dataset.
Apply the filter: System Type contains ZOOM.
Active Zoom meetings will appear in the dataset.

Validating Zoom Participant Data
You can also validate that participant call data is being collected for Zoom meetings.
In the Tech Insights Monitoring module, click Datasets from the left menu.
Select the Calls dataset.
Apply the filter: Data Source contains ZOOM
The Zoom meeting participants will appear in the dataset.

Validating Zoom Rooms Data
Use the Tech Insights Monitoring module to confirm that Zoom Rooms are being collected from your Zoom account.
In the Tech Insights Monitoring module, click Datasets from the left menu.
Select the Calls dataset.
Apply the filter: Model contains Zoom Room.
The Zoom Rooms will appear in the dataset.

Validating Zoom Data from Tech Insights Analytics module
For validating the following sections (Users and Port Usage), use the Tech Insights Analytics module.
Note: After enabling the Zoom collector for the first time, it can take up to 48 hours for Zoom data to become available in this module.
Validating Zoom Users Data
Open the Tech Insights Analytics module.
From the left menu, click Datasets > Users.
Apply the filter: System Type (Acronym) contains Zoom.
The Zoom users’ data will appear in the dataset.

Validating Zoom Port Usage
Validate Zoom capacity and port usage by adding a trend panel in the Tech Insights Analytics module.
In the Tech Insights Analytics module, click Dashboards from the left menu.
Open the Capacity dashboard or another dashboard where you want to add a trend panel.

Once the dashboard is selected, add a Trend panel.

Set the following criteria:
Category: Select “Capacity”
Metric (Value): Select “Concurrent Meeting Peak (by System).”
Group: Retain the default (no grouping).
Display Type: Select “Area Trend.”
In Filters, select Systems, and under Bridge section, select ZOOM.

Save the panel. The trend panel will show the daily peak concurrent meeting count.
