Introduction
Custom Data Uploads allow administrators to ingest external CSV data into HP WXP Collaborations for additional analysis and reporting.
This article provides guidance to enable custom data uploads by configuring a Custom File Uploader in WXP Collaboration infrastructure. Once configured, the uploader allows CSV files to be placed in specific directories on the collector for processing.
Add a Custom File Uploader
Sign in to the Admin Portal of WXP Collaboration application.
Click Infrastructure > New Infrastructure.

From the list of available infrastructure types, click CSV.
Enter a name and description for the uploader.
Click Save.
Return to the Infrastructure list and confirm that the new system is enabled.
Uploading Directory Structure
After the Custom File Uploader is enabled, the required directories are created automatically on the system where the WXP Collaboration Data Collector is installed. This process may take a few minutes.
The following directories are created under the collector installation directory:
<installation directory>\VyoptaUploads\InputFiles<installation directory>\VyoptaUploads\ProcessedFiles<installation directory>\VyoptaUploads\MalformedFiles
Place files in the InputFiles directory to upload them for processing.
