Endpoint Statuses

Description

  1. No credentials

Indicates that no credentials were set in the Monitoring Group.

Some endpoints in the group use a different password that must be set manually.

  1. Not responding

Within the last 15 minutes, Endpoint Monitoring could not establish a connection with the endpoint due to one or more of the following:

  • The IP address in the Admin Portal does not match the endpoint’s IP address.

  • SSH is not enabled on the endpoint, or port 22 is blocked between the collector server and the endpoint.

  • Cisco endpoints must have the SSH option AllowPublicKey set to ON.

  • Codec configuration/User Administration is incomplete (for example, no admin password set).

  • The account is set to “Require password change on next user sign-in.”

  1. No messages

Same as “Not responding,” but the inability to connect has exceeded 15 minutes.

  1. Blank

The endpoint is not assigned to a Monitoring Group.

  1. Unsupported

The endpoint model is not supported by the current version of the Data Collector.
