Overview

LogiSync enables centralized monitoring and management of Logitech endpoints through a cloud-based API. This article provides a step-by-step guide for customers to configure a LogiSync collector, including certificate generation, infrastructure setup, and monitoring group creation.

Purpose

Enable secure API integration with LogiSync Cloud.
Collect master data and monitor peripheral status for Logitech endpoints.
Support occupancy and presence data for advanced analytics.

7. Validate Presence and Occupancy Data

After 24 hours, you should see occupancy data for your endpoints in Space Insights. If not, you will need to check your devices in the LogiSync portal to verify that occupancy is enabled and if your devices supports this feature.

Additional Notes

Fallback: An On-premise logi collector may still be needed for full data coverage based on your needs.
Teams Integration: MTR monitoring is being retired; its recommended to use LogiSync collector for collecting and monitoring Logi endpoints
API Used: The LogiSync Place API is the main endpoint for master and peripheral data.

FAQs

Q1: What if validation fails?
Check that:

Certificates and keys are correctly pasted.
Org ID matches your account.
LogiSync infrastructure is enabled.

Q2: Can I still use the logi on-premise collector?
Yes, as a fallback if LogiSync does not provide complete data. Logi is continuing to improve data collection via the Sync API
Q3: How do I confirm occupancy data?
Inspect API responses under sensors. If values are zero, verify your device capabilities for occupancy.
Q4: What is the recommended polling frequency?

Master data: Hourly.
Endpoint monitoring: Every 1 minute.
