Introduction

The HP Insights Health Checker is a diagnostic tool used to verify whether a PC is entitled to HP Premium or Premium+ Support (formerly, Active Care). Before you can use any Care Pack-based service, the Care Pack must be registered.

This article provides a step-by-step guide to confirm your Care Pack registration and steps to take if your PC is not yet entitled to the service.

Verify Care Pack is Registered

First, verify that your Care Pack is registered and your warranty is valid. Refer to the article called Care Pack Registration for simple steps.

Second, after you’ve confirmed that the Care Pack is registered, run the HP Insights Health Checker again.

Third. if the tool still reports that the device is not yet entitled to the service, follow these steps:

- If you have a WXP dashboard, create a Support Case.

- If you do not have a WXP dashboard, email the WXP support team and describe the issue: mailto:[email protected]?subject=Help%20needed%20with%20HP%20Premium/Premium+%20Support&body=My%20PC%20serial%20number%20is:%20[insert%20it%20here]%0A%0AThe%20issue%20I%20have%20is:%20[describe%20it%20here]%0A%0APlease%20attach%20anything%20that%20will%20be%20helpful.
