Care Pack Registration for HP Premium and Premium+ Support

HP Premium and Premium+ Support (formerly, Active Care) is powered by the HP Workforce Experience Platform (WXP). This article offers help for WXP features that are unique to these services.


Care Pack Registration

In order for a PC to be entitled to HP Premium or Premium+ Support, its Care Pack must be registered.

To check to see if it is registered, following these steps:

  1. Open the warranty check page

  2. Select your geographic location.

  3. Enter the Serial Number and Product ID of your laptop. To retrieve this information:

    • Serial Number: For laptops, hold down the Fn key, press Esc from the built in keyboard, and look for a pop-up dialog box. For other models, enter CMD into the Windows search bar and hit enter, enter wmic bios get serialnumber to display the serial number.
    • Product ID (hardware part number): Search for System Information in Windows search bar and locate the System SKU.
  4. Once your warranty details are displayed, look in the Service Level section.

    • If you see HP Premium Support, Premium+ Support, or Active Care, your Care Pack was successfully registered.
    • If not, contact your reseller to have your service registered or send an email to the support team for your country in the table below.

After registration, your PC will should automatically enroll after one business day. For more help with enrolling the device, read this article.
