Question

How can we capture data from WXP Collaboration?

Answer

In contrast to Tech Insights Analytics, Tech Insights Monitoring lacks an export function due to the ephemeral nature of the displayed data.

It is possible to instruct the WXP Collaboration platform to perform a screenshot of the data on display by clicking the Camera button in the top right of the browser window:

If more data is required or the format is unsuitable, the same data can be obtained via the Tech Insights Monitoring Query API. Please see The Tech Insights Monitoring Query API for more information.

To get call details for an endpoint from WXP Collaboration, we need to export the information from Tech Insights Analytics. The steps to achieve call details for an endpoint are shown below:

  1. In Tech Insights Analytics, navigate to Datasets > Endpoints > Call details

  2. Select the desired endpoint from the drop-down list

  3. Click the Export button to export the data in either Excel or CSV format
