Introduction
When Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) device data is available in HP WXP Collaboration, administrators can view device information, call records, quality of service (QoS) details, and meeting room usage.
This article explains how to export the MTR device list from the Teams Rooms Pro Portal and upload the CSV file into HP WXP Collaboration. You can use this method alongside Microsoft Teams Intgeration described in this article.
Note: This export is recommended for environments where Microsoft Teams Rooms have not been added to Microsoft InTune.
Exporting MTR Device Data from the Teams Room Pro Portal
The MS Teams Rooms Pro Portal provides a comprehensive view of all deployed MTR devices. The Devices Export feature enables administrators to download a list of all registered MTRs, including critical metadata, such as device name, location, serial number, and peripherals.
Adding MTRs into WXP Collaboration
Access the MS Teams Rooms Pro Portal:
Sign in to the portal with administrative credentials.
Go to the Devices section to view your MTR inventory.
Click Export within the Rooms view.
Save the exported file (CSV format) locally.
Keep the file and its full name intact.

Inject into WXP Collaboration:
Access Admin Portal of WXP Collaboration application.
Go to the Infrastructure section.
Select the CustomCloud uploader by clicking its name or the pencil icon for editing.

Note: if you do not have that tool listed, you may add it by clicking New Infrastructure. For additional information, refer to this article.
Expand the Upload section from the arrow on the right
Either click Upload CSV or the “drag and drop” feature to upload the Devices file exported from Pro Portal.

There will be a notification of successful processing of the file or an indication of any failures that took place.
Verify that all MTR devices appear in the WXP Collaboration Endpoint list in about 24 hours after the nightly processing is complete.
Set up monitoring, alerts, and reporting as needed and available for monitorable devices.
IMPORTANT
In order to keep the device list current and accurate , the administrator should ensure that the above export is repeated on a regular basis, especially when MTRs are added or deleted or changes.
Failure to do this may result in inaccuracies in the MTR endpoint list and the associated data within WXP Collaboration.
Best Practices
The device metadata has to be kept up to date in both portals for accurate tracking.
Maintain strict access controls for device management portals.
Regularly audit device inventories in both Teams Rooms Pro and WXP Collaboration platforms.
