Viewing VMR Meeting Count

Introduction

Organizations often need to understand how often their conference rooms or virtual meeting rooms (VMRs) are being used. This information helps with capacity planning, resource allocation, and identifying rooms with high or low utilization. This article explains how to find the number of meetings hosted in each VMR within Tech Insights Analytics and to filter, sort, and analyze this data .

Viewing the Number of Meetings Hosted in a Conference Room (VMR)

The VMRs view in the Meetings tab of Tech Insights Analytics displays information about specific conference rooms or virtual meeting rooms (VMRs).

To view:

  1. Log in to WXP Collaboration. The Dashboard is displayed.

  2. Go to the Meetings tab of Tech Insights Analytics and select the VMRs view to see all VMR meetings for a specified time period.

  3. Use the Add Filter search to look for specific rooms or groups of rooms. For example, in the screenshot below, the user added a filter to find VMRs with “Lulu” in the name.

Tip: Use the date range picker in the top-right corner of any tab in Tech Insights Analytics to change the dates you want to analyze. Click the share or forward icon at the top-right corner of the page to schedule a one-time or recurring report.

To view the number of meetings hosted in a particular VMR:

  1. In the Meetings tab of Tech Insights Analytics, select the VMRs view.

  2. Select the technologies you want to analyze.

  3. Click the VMR Meeting Count column.

  4. Sort the list in ascending or descending order by meeting count.

In the above screenshot, meetings are sorted in descending order by total meeting count. Similarly, other usage-related columns, such as Total Minutes, can be used to rank utilization.

Note: You can use the date range picker in the top-right corner of any tab in Tech Insights Analytics to adjust the analysis period, and use the Share button to schedule a one-time or recurring report.
