Introduction
The Remediation with AI feature in HP Workforce Experience Platform (WXP) helps IT Administrators move from issue detection to resolution faster. This feature reviews available remediations and recommends the most relevant option as the Best Match. This helps admins decide faster, while they stay fully in control.
Currently, IT admins can access AI-Suggested Remediation only from Alerts. This means recommendations appear when admins are reviewing an issue and deciding how to fix it.
Remediation with AI reads the following to recommend solutions:
Alert context (issue type, scope, severity)
Remediations available in HP and admin libraries
Remediation metadata and applicability
Explicit admin feedback on suggestions
No remediation is executed without admin’s approval. The AI recommendations are refined over time through:
Admin feedback on suggestions
New remediations added to the remediation library
Note: Currently, this feature is only available Pro and Elite plans.
Using Remediation with AI
Alerts are generated when a system threshold or custom threshold is crossed.

On the Alert details page, click Remediate. The Remediation panel opens, displaying AI Suggestions as the default tab.
Within the AI Suggestions tab:
Additional suggested remediations are listed below the Best Match.

After selecting a remediation, follow the guided steps to run a script or apply a policy.
On the Review page, admins can adjust details before execution:
Edit targeted devices or groups
Modify parameters (for Scripts)
Choose execution timing
Run now
Run at scheduled time
Note:
Scripts can be applied to either the selected devices or manual groups. Policies must be assigned to group(s).
Run at scheduled time is currently available only for group deployments, not selected device deployments.
Once confirmed, the remediation is executed as configured.

Note: Admins can also manually select a specific remediation by clicking on the various tabs in the Remediation panel.
Providing Feedback
Admins can provide feedback on remediation suggestions using a thumbs up or thumbs down.
This feedback helps refine future recommendations.
