Introduction
The Adding Licenses feature in the HP Workforce Experience Platform (WXP) enables IT administrators to activate and manage subscription entitlements for their organization. By adding a valid license key, IT teams can unlock features, allocate seats, and ensure that enrolled devices are associated with the correct service plan. This helps organizations track usage, prevent overenrollment, and maintain compliance with purchased subscriptions.
With this feature, an authorized user can:
- Enter and validate new license keys.
- Monitor license allocation across plans.
- Move devices between plans to optimize seat usage.
- Resolve overenrollment by adding seats or reass
Note: An Onboarding Program Manager, IT Admin, and/or Partner Admin can perform the steps below.
To add a new license:

Log in to Workforce Experience Platform. The Home page is displayed.

From the left menu of the platform, Click Accounts > Licenses. The Licenses tab is displayed.

On the Licenses tab, click Add licenses. An Assign license dialog box is displayed.

Enter the License Key and click Validate.
After the validation, a success or error message is displayed.
