Introduction
When you add a Cisco Meeting Server (CMS) in the Admin Portal of HP WXP Collaboration, the Server Media Load Limit field is populated with a default value of 1250.
CMS servers can vary by hardware type and capacity. You may need to update this value to reflect the actual media capacity of each server.
Purpose of Media Load Limit
The Server Media Load Limit defines the maximum media capacity supported by a CMS server. Setting the correct value ensures that media load capacity is accurately displayed in Tech Insights Monitoring.

Determining the Recommended Media Load Limit:
Cisco provides recommended Media Load Limit values based on the CMS server model and capacity. You can review these values in the Acano Media Load Settings reference.

Refer to the Acano Media Load Settings documentation to identify the correct value for your server.
Updating the Media Load Limit
Log in to the Admin Portal of WXP Collaboration application.
Go to Infrastructure, select CMS from the list and edit by clicking on the name or the pencil icon.
Click CMS Settings.
Locate the Server Media Load Limit field.
Replace the default value of 1250 with the recommended value from the Acano Media Load Settings reference.
Note:
To change the Media Load Limit value, you must temporarily disable CMS data collection. After updating the value, re-enable CMS data collection to resume monitoring.
Disabling and re-enabling data collection will not remove the CMS configuration.
