Step 2 - Add a Polycom RPRM Connector

To add a Polycom RPRM Connector, you need:

  • Access to the FQDN or IP address of the RPRM from the WXP Collaboration Data Collector.
  • Port 8443 must be open between the WXP Collaboration Data Collector and the Polycom RPRM.
  • Credentials for the service account on the Polycom RPRM.

Follow these steps to add an RPRM instance:

Note

We recommend using the hostname instead of the IP address, because IP addresses may change. Use a friendly, descriptive name for the infrastructure to make it easier to identify.

  1. Sign in to the WXP Collaboration Admin Portal with your credentials.

  2. Open the Infrastructure menu or icon, and then select New Infrastructure.

  3. From the list of infrastructure types, click Polycom RealPresence Resource Manager (RPRM).

  1. After saving, two new buttons appear: Disabled (at the top) and Validate (at the bottom).
  2. Select Validate to test the connection. A pop-up appears.
