Enabling Geolocation for Windows Devices

Enabling location services on each device allows the agent to collect important data for the user or company account. To verify and turn on location services, follow the steps for your Windows version.

Windows 10

1. Press the Windows logo key to open Start, then click Settings (gear icon). The Settings page is displayed.

2. On the Settings page, click Privacy > Location.

3. If Allow access to location on this device is “Off,” click Change to enable it.

4. (Optional) Under Allow apps to access your location, enable the feature using the the toggle option.

   

Windows 11

1. Press the Windows logo key to open Start, then click Settings (gear icon). The Settings page is displayed.

2. From the left pane of Settings, select Privacy & security.

3. In the right pane, select Location.

4. Using the toggle, enable the Location services feature.

5. Ensure that Let apps access your location and Let desktop apps access your location are also enabled.
