Introduction
The Driver Inventory report lists driver versions and the devices running each version.
This report includes detailed driver-level and device-level insights to support driver compliance and remediation efforts. The data is organized across multiple tabs: Drivers, Drivers Table, and Details.
Drivers
The report show the following columns:
- Driver version: Shows the installed version of the driver.
- Count: Shows the number of devices that have the corresponding driver version installed.
This view helps IT teams identify which device models have the most driver-related issues and prioritize remediation.
Drivers Table
This tab provides a detailed list of individual drivers in a tabular format. The default columns include:
- Device Model: The model name or number of the device.
- Driver Name: The name of the installed driver.
- Version: The installed driver version.
- MSRC Severity: The assigned severity level, such as Routine or Critical.
- Status: Indicates whether the driver is updated or outdated.
- Number of Devices: The number of devices where the listed driver version is installed.
This view helps IT teams assess specific drivers and track their update status across multiple devices.
Details
This tab provides device-level insights in a table format. The default columns include:
- Last Signed-In User: The user who last signed into the device.
- Serial Number: A unique identifier for the device.
- Device Name: The assigned name of the device.
- Device Model: The model number of the device.
- Operating System: The installed operating system, such as Windows 10 or Windows 11.
- Operating System Release: The OS release version, such as 22H2 or 23H2.
This tab helps link driver-related issues to specific devices, users, and operating systems, supporting more effective troubleshooting.
Exporting Data
Click Export to download the report based on the applied filter criteria. After clicking Export, a popup message appears indicating that the download is in progress and the file will be available in the Notification Center of the platform once ready.
