WXP Collaboration User Permissions

Introduction

WXP Collaboration has two main roles available to users, with multiple view options within each role.

Below is the list of views a user can be assigned to:

Admin Role (two views)

  • Professional: Choose this view when the end user is the main point of contact with WXP Collaboration and needs all available privileges. Generally used by MSP users.
  • Administrator: Choose this view when the end user needs to have full privileges in your environment.

Analyst Role (three views)

  • vAnalytics Analyst: Choose this view when the end user needs the full core functionality of WXP Collaboration’s solutions but does not need the ability to configure the WXP Collaboration environment.
  • vAnalytics Reader: Choose this view when the end user needs to use monitoring, datasets, and dashboards.
  • Strict Dashboard Viewer: Choose this view when a user needs to use pre-configured dashboards.

Security permissions are set at the role level. Views enable different types of users to leverage WXP Collaboration in line with the requirements of their job.
