Introduction
The Activity module in the Remediation module of the Workforce Experience Platform (WXP) provides you with a detailed view of all past and ongoing remediation actions. This view helps track execution status, analyze remediation trends, and troubleshoot device-specific results.
Accessing Activity Page
Log in to WXP. The Home page is displayed.
From the left menu of the platform, click Remediations > Activity. The Activity page is displayed, show a tabular view of past and ongoing remediation actions. The table includes the following columns:
Initiated On: The time when the remediation was initiated.
Remediation Name: The name assigned to the remediation.
Type: The category of remediation, such as: Script, Workflow, Policy.
Subtype: The subcategory of a specific remediation type, such as: Action, Evaluation, Driver Update, BIOS Update, BIOS Setting.
Initiated By: The name of the user who initiated the remediation.
Status: The current state of the remediation, such as: Completed, Running, Pending, Canceled.
Devices Remediated: The number of devices benefited from the remediation.
Synopsis (Optional): A brief summary of the remediation.
Updated At (Optional): The time of the last update.
Viewing Remediation Details
To view details of an specific remediation:
From the left menu of WXP, click Remediations > Activity. The Activity page is displayed.
From the Activity page, locate the remediation either directly within the list or use the search box to find the them.
Click on the Remediation Name. The Remediation details page is displayed, showing additional insights such as:
Status: The current status of the remediation is displayed beneath the Remediation name.
The Activity section, displays the following:
Synopsis: A brief description of the remediation.
Subtype: The sub category in which the remediation falls.
Initiated By: The name of the user who initiated the
Devices Remediated: The number of devices fixed as part of the remediation.
Initiated On: The time when the remediation was initiated
Updated At. The time when the remediation was last updated.
The Device section categorizes devices based on remediation results:
Success: Devices where remediation was applied successfully.
Error: Devices where remediation failed.
Canceled: Devices where remediation was halted before completion.
Analyzing Device-Specific Results
From the left menu of WXP, click Remediations > Activity. The Activity page is displayed.
From the Activity page, click on a Remediation Name. The Remediation details page is displayed.
On the Remediation details page, go to the Device section, where devices are categorized based on the following statuses:
Success: Remediation completed successfully.
Error: Remediation failed on the device.
Canceled: Remediation was interrupted before completion.
