Introduction

HP WXP Collaboration Data Collector includes both the endpoint monitor and data collector services in a single package. Running this upgrade updates both components.

Follow the instructions below, which use the internal installer included with the data collector.

1. Download the latest version of the WXP Collaboration Data Collector from the Admin Portal.

2. Stop the “Vyopta CPM Data Collector” service.

   

3. Launch Command Prompt (CMD) in administrator mode.

4. Go to the current WXP Collaboration installation directory (typically C:\Vyopta) and run this command: vyoptacollector.exe -uninstall

5. After the command completes successfully, copy the executable file downloaded in step 1 to the same directory, replacing the existing executable file.

   

6. Run the following command with the new executable in place:

   vyoptacollector.exe -install

7. Verify that the “Vyopta CPM Data Collector” service has started. If the service is not running, start it manually as shown below.

   

8. Sign in to the Admin Portal of WXP Collaboration and verify that the relevant services are displayed in green.

9. Confirm that the service account email address listed matches the one configured in the vyoptacollector.xml file.
