Reporting on Endpoints by Location or Division

Using HP WXP Collaboration’s Tech Insights Monitoring or Tech Insights Analytics, you can report on endpoints by custom location or endpoint tagging. To do this, navigate to the endpoint and add tags or a location. Here’s how:

  1. Log in to HP WXP Collaboration application. The Home page is displayed.

  2. Open Tech Insights Monitoring and click Datasets > Endpoints.

  3. Select the endpoint to add tags or a location. For example, “Zoom Room 1”).

  4. Select Edit in the far-right corner to add endpoint and location tags.

An additional functionality is coming soon to expose TMS group or partition hierarchies as (non-editable) tags. All locations and endpoint tags (including TMS hierarchies as tags) can be used as filters in custom panels via the Location or Endpoint Tag filters. They can also be used as filters from the Endpoints tab. For more on tagging, see How to: assign custom tags to your endpoints.

Once you decide how you want to group or select the endpoints, follow these steps:

  1. In Tech Insights Monitoring, select Rules under the Monitors menu on the left.

  2. Select Add Monitor.

  3. Enter a title for the monitor so you can identify it later.

  4. Select the endpoints you want to monitor from the drop-down list.

  5. Choose the Frequency of the monitor.

  6. Select the Alerting method.
