Your 3-step onboarding journey

Stop reacting to device problems: start being in control.

Ease the pressure of device management with predictive hardware alerts, fast onsite Premium Support Services, and insights powered by WXP to proactively fix, monitor, and support all your devices.

Getting started with HP Premium Support with WXP is easy. Simply follow the three steps below to unlock proactive support, device insights, and a more seamless IT experience.

  1. Care Pack Registration
Confirm your HP support coverage is correctly registered.

  2. Tenant Creation
Set up your organization's Workforce Experience Platform account.

  3. Device Enrollment
Connect your devices to activate monitoring, analytics, and proactive support capabilities.

Every step builds on the previous one, helping ensure your environment is fully configured and ready to deliver the full value of your HP services.

Step 1: Confirm Your HP Care Pack Registration

Before we can activate monitoring, insights, and proactive support capabilities, let's make sure your HP Care Packs are registered correctly.

Already received a Care Pack confirmation email?

Great news! Your registration has already been completed. You can proceed directly to Step 2: Create Your WXP Tenant and continue your onboarding journey.

Need to verify your registration?

Use the HP Warranty Checker below to confirm that your Care Packs are active and associated with your devices.

Ready for the next steps?

Once your Care Pack registration is confirmed, you're ready to create your Workforce Experience Platform account and start benefiting from enhanced visibility, proactive support, and a more connected device experience.

Continue to Step 2: Create Your WXP Tenant

Step 2: Create Your Workforce Experience Platform Account

Now that your HP Care Packs are registered, it's time to create your organization's Workforce Experience Platform (WXP) Account - also called Tenant —your central account for managing devices, accessing insights, and unlocking the full value of HP Premium and HP Premium+ services.

Already using Workforce Experience Platform?

Before you sign up, please check with others in your IT team in case they have already created an account for your company. If one exists, ask to be added to it as an additional administrator and you can move directly to Step 3: Device Enrollment.

Otherwise follow the steps below.

Create Your Organization's WXP Account

Setting up your account only takes a few minutes.

Choose How You Would Like to Sign In

To access the WXP platform as an administrator, you can use one of the following account types:

  • Microsoft Entra ID (Recommended): If your organization already uses Microsoft Entra ID for IT administration and user management, we recommend using the same account. This helps simplify administration and aligns WXP with your existing IT processes.

  • HP Account: Don't have a Microsoft Entra ID account available? No problem. You can use an HP Account instead. If you don't already have an HP Account, we'll guide you through a quick account creation process before setting up your WXP account.

Once your Tenant is created, you're ready to enroll your devices into it and start benefiting from enhanced visibility, proactive support, and a more connected device experience.

Continue to Step 3: Enroll Your Devices

Step 3 of 3: Enroll Your Devices

Once your tenant is created you need to note down your cPIN.

To obtain the company PIN:

  1. Log into WXP. The Home Page is displayed.

  2. From the left menu of the platform, select Settings > Preferences.

  3. On the Preferences tab, scroll to the Company PIN section to copy the PIN.

Now, you can install the HP Insights Windows application (Windows Agent) and enroll your devices into WXP.

Overview of the Process

If you are a customer using a tool like Intune, read this article. Otherwise, follow these key actions to complete enrollment:

  1. Uninstall the HP insights agent
If it is already present (may have installed automatically via windows update), search for it in the installed apps and uninstall. To transfer a PC through company PIN enrollment, you will need to uninstall and perform a fresh install.

  2. Download the HP Insights Agent
Install the HP Insights Agent to enable device connection and monitoring. It is available at this link.

  3. Enroll your devices:

    1. From the download folder, run the setup.exe (x64 or x86 Platform) with an IT admin role to start the installation.

    2. Click Next.

    3. Select the checkbox next to the message I accept the Terms and Conditions of the End User License Agreement.

    4. Click Install and follow through the instructions. A new window opens to initiate the enrollment process.

    5. When prompted, enter the cPIN you previously copied at the beginning of Step 3 (Device Enrollment).

    6. Click Yes in the Check Device Registration field to be able to proceed.

    7. When the enrollment confirmation window appears, click Agree. A message is displayed with a success or failure message.

  4. Verify all your devices are in your tenant
Once you have enrolled on every device, log into your tenant, on the left menu click “devices” and then “PCs” and verify that all your SNs are listed.

Congratulations! You’re successfully onboarded.
