Inviting and Re-inviting Admins

Introduction

The Admins module in HP Workforce Experience Platform (WXP) allows you (IT administrator) to invite IT admin team members and assign them appropriate roles. The invited admins receive a welcome email with a URL to log in to WXP. You can also re-invite admins if required.

This article provides a step-by-step guide to invite and re-invite admins.

Inviting a New Admin

  1. Log in to WXP. The Home page is displayed.
  2. From the left menu of the platform, click Account. The company page is displayed.
  3. On the Accounts page, go to the Admins tab. The existing admin members are displayed.
  4. Click Invite Admin. An Add Admins dialog box is displayed, prompting you to select one of the two options:
    • Add Manually
    • Upload CSV

Adding Admins Manually

  1. In the Add Admins dialog box, select Add Manually.

  2. In Step 1 of 2, enter the following details:
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Email
    • IDP (Identity Provider): Select either HP Account ID or Microsoft Entra ID.
  3. (Optional) Click + Add another admin to invite more than one IT admins.
  4. Click Next.
  5. In Step 2 of 2, select a role from the dropdown.
    • By default, one of the roles is assigned. This can be changed by using the Roles dropdown.
    • In the field Set same role to all admins in the list, select a role from the dropdown to assign to all admins.
  6. Review the admin details and click Finish. A popup is displayed in the bottom-right corner with a success or failure message.

The invited admin will receive a welcome email. By clicking the link in the email, they can access login page of the platform.

Adding Admins in Bulk via CSV

  1. In the Add Admins window, select Upload CSV.

  2. (Optional) Download the template to ensure correct format.
  3. Add admin details in the recommended format and save the file locally.
  4. Using the Upload File option, select your file and click Upload.
  5. Click Import. A message is displayed in the bottom-right corner with a success or failure message.

The invited admins receive a welcome email. When they click the link in the email, they are redirected to the WXP login page.

Re-Inviting an Admin

If one or more admins missed the invitation, you can resend it to them.

To re-invite:

  1. From the left menu of the platform, select Account.
  2. Select the Admins tab.
  3. Select the admins to be re-invited.
    • Use the search box to find admins by Name, Email, Role, or Invite Status.
  4. Click Resend Invite. A confirmation appears: Are you sure you want to resend the invitation to the selected admins?
  5. Click Resend. A message is displayed in the bottom-right corner with a success or failure message.

A new welcome email is sent to them.

The imported file can be accessed via Notification Center.

Viewing Admin Details

  1. From the left menu of the platform, click Account.
  2. Go to the Admins tab. A list of existing admins is displayed.
  3. Click the admin's email address to view their profile. The User Details page is displayed.
