Prerequisite
- One-time setup of Entra ID Connector.
- To import groups from Entra ID, first configure a connection to the Entra ID tenant. This step requires a user with the Connector Admin role in the WXP platform.
- In the HP Work Experience (WXP) platform, go to Integrations, and under Entra ID Groups, click Connect.
- In the Integrations page (for more details, see Integrations), under Accept required permissions, click Connect.
- In the Entra ID Groups connector card, the top of the connector displays a green Connected tag when setup is complete.
Select Entra ID Group to Import after Connector Setup
- In Groups, select Add and Entra ID.
- Choose the Group and device OS types you want to import and sync.
Note
Only devices enrolled in WXP will be added to the Group.
Review and Confirm Group Creation
- In the Entra ID dialog, review the group profile and include the following-
- Group Name
- Membership Type
- Created by
- Selected Member Devices
- Operating System
- Click Add to finalize group import.
- The Entra ID group is created and appears in the Groups List.
- Click on the Group name from this list to view details.
- A notification will appear when the import is completed.
