Downloading Endpoint Details Tech Insights Analytics

Introduction

HP WX Collaboration application enables you to export endpoint details from Tech Insights Analytics. This feature is useful for IT Administrators as it provides a fast, reliable way to audit and manage their device fleet.

By downloading inventory fields, such as system name, location, IP address, serial number, software version, manufacturer, model, and known vulnerabilities, you can support security reviews, asset tracking, and troubleshooting.

The export can be scheduled or run on demand in CSV or Excel format. This makes it easy to share with IT, security, and operations teams or to load into other systems.

Downloading Details

Follow the below steps to download endpoint details, such as system name, subcategory, IP address, serial number, software version, manufacturer, model, and vulnerabilities.

1. Open Tech Insights Analytics and go to Datasets > Endpoints > Inventory.

   

2. After the endpoint data loads, select the Share or Export icon in the upper-right. The Share window is displayed to update the following details:

   1. Delivery Method: By default “Email” is selected. The other options I Local Report Exporter.

      1. To use the Local Report Exporter as the delivery method, see the article Exporting Reports to Collector for setup and usage details.

   2. Export types: Select Excel, CSV, or Report Link.

   3. Frequency: Select Once, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.

   4. Reporting Period: Select a period corresponding to Frequency.

   5. Message: Enter a brief note for future reference.

   6. Subject: Enter an intuitive subject line for reference.

   7. Email(s): Enter one or more email IDs, separated by commas.

   8. Webex Team Space: Select this option if applicable.

3. Review the details and click Send.

   

The recipients will get an email with download links.
