Supported Cisco Models

There are no restrictions on which Cisco models are supported in WXP Collaboration as long as they support Microsoft Teams Room mode. Functionality Changes After Migrating to Microsoft Teams Room Mode

• A factory reset is necessary for registration, which generates a new device ID in both Cisco’s and Microsoft’s management systems.

• The new endpoint will operate correctly, even when dual registered with Microsoft and Control Hub.

It is crucial to understand that Microsoft Teams does not provide real-time in-call status or quality metrics. Call records only become available shortly after a call ends due to limitations of the meeting platform.

Local Monitoring and Real-Time Data

For organizations that rely on local endpoint monitoring for WXP Collaboration, this functionality remains unchanged after switching to MTR mode. Users can still expect robust monitoring capabilities for up/down events and peripheral statuses.

Moreover, if Cisco endpoints deliver real-time occupancy and people-count information for Space Insights, this capability will remain intact following the transition to Microsoft Teams Room mode, guaranteeing that essential metrics stay available.

Testing of New Endpoint Models and Modes
