Step 1 - Set up an API integration with the Poly Lens Platform
Pre-requisite:
You must have full read/write administrator privileges to create the API integration.
To add and verify the integration for the Poly Lens collector, follow these steps:
- In the Poly Lens Platform (lens.poly.com), go to the Account menu in the top-right corner and select the account for which you want to host the integration.
- From the drop-down menu, select Account settings.
- Go to API Credentials.
- Select Add New.
- Select Just this account, and then click Next.

- Enter a name for the integration.
- In Role, select Admin and click Create. The new connection will populate the integrations API List.

- Select Copy to copy the Client ID and Secret to your clipboard.
Step 2 - Add a Poly Lens Connector
To add a Poly Lens Connector, you need:
- The Client ID and Secret from the integration you created above.
To add your Poly Lens instance, follow these steps:
-
Sign in to the WXP Collaboration Admin Portal with your credentials.
-
In the Infrastructure menu, select New Infrastructure.
-
From the list of infrastructure types, click Poly Lens.

-
On the Poly Lens page, enter the connection and integration details:

-
In Description, enter details such as device group, location, and other unique identifiers.
-
In Host address, enter https://api.silica-prod01.io.lens.poly.com.
-
In Client ID and Client Secret, enter the values you created in the Poly Lens Platform.
-
Click Save.
-
After saving, two new buttons appear: Disabled (top) and Validate (bottom).
-
Select Validate to check the connection. A pop-up appears.

-
If validation fails, select the Details arrow for more information (for example, invalid API credentials or connection issues). Correct the problem and try again.
-
When validation succeeds, click Disabled to change it to Enabled. This begins monitoring and data collection from your Poly Lens account.
