Introduction
The Share or Forward icon allows users to create and distribute reports from Analytics dashboards and Datasets. When this icon is missing, users are unable create or share reports.
The Share button visibility is controlled by the user roles in WXP Collaboration.
If the user is assigned the vAnalytics Reader role, the Share button is not displayed. Users with this role can only view existing content and cannot create or share reports.
Resolution
To enable report creation and sharing:
Contact the WXP Collaboration Administrator.
Request an update to a role that supports report creation, such as vAnalytics Analyst.
Sign out and sign back in after the role change is applied.
Once the role is updated, the Share button becomes available in Analytics.
Additional permissions are managed at the role level. The following roles are available:
Analytics Analyst
Analytics Reader
Strict Dashboard Viewer
