Partner administrators can manage End User Notifications for eligible customer tenants from the WXP partner experience.
End User Notifications are available for customers with telemetry-enabled hardware support services, like HP Premium Support and HP Premium+ Support. These notifications enable eligible end users to receive alerts about hardware events and offer details that can be used to start a support case.
Eligibility
The End User Notification settings are available when:
The selected customer has an assigned Service Delivery Partner.
The Service Delivery Partner is connected to CSDP.
You selected a single customer tenant.
The customer has a telemetry-enabled hardware support service entitlement, such as HP Premium Support or HP Premium+ Support.
The End User Notifications setting is not displayed for:
Customers whose partner is not connected to CSDP.
Customers that are not assigned to a Service Delivery Partner.
Customers that doesn’t have a telemetry-enabled hardware support service entitlement.
Change a customer’s notification setting
Both the partner administrator and the customer’s IT administrator can change the setting. The most recent saved change takes effect, and WXP records which administrator made the last change. The setting applies to the entire customer tenant.
Sign in to WXP as a partner administrator.
Select a single customer from the customer selector.
Go to Settings > End User Notifications.
Toggle the notification setting on or off. If it shows Enabled, notifications are being sent.
When notifications are enabled, eligible users receive hardware event notifications. If disabled, notifications are not delivered. The partner can review the alert in WXP and manage the support case.
